The BioCurve plate was designed in collaboration with BioMedtrix, who are known for their total hip replacement systems. The plate conforms naturally to the shape of the tibia and is able to compress the osteotomy both cranially and axially. They are also available in stainless steel or with a HyProtect anti-bacterial coating.
The Compresiv plate is a slightly straighter plate, but has the advantage of a Hohmann retractor slot distally to allow retraction of soft tissues and reduces the need to dissect distally down the tibia.
The Versiv plate features distal multi-purpose holes which allow either locking, neutral or compression screws.
All 3 plates accept double threaded locking screws, feature a matte finish to prevent glare during surgery, are designed for minimal contact with the bone to increase vascularity and healing, and are precontoured and caudally oriented to best fit the proximal tibial anatomy.
