This two-day, practical workshop improved your confidence and skill when performing abdominal ultrasonography. It was aimed at novice to intermediate scanners wishing to improve their technique and maximise their machine’s potential.

Participants learned the essentials of abdominal ultrasound through interactive lectures and hands-on training. Topics included ultrasound physics, artefacts, complete abdominal scanning, normal anatomy, and recognising disease. Lectures featured plenty of images and videos for clarity, followed by practical scanning with one-on-one tutoring to sharpen skills and boost confidence.
