Please note, if your clinic does not have sufficient points to pay for the full workshop amount, the difference will be invoiced and emailed to you for reimbursement via credit card or direct deposit. The clinic account will be adjusted to reflect the reduction in rewards points. Your reservation will be confirmed by our team upon receipt of full payment (points or points + payment). Please ensure that management has approved the use of reward points.

Practical CPD – Veterinary Continuing Education Provider

Welcome to Practical CPD! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, as well as your participation in our workshops, courses, and events. By accessing our website or enrolling in our programs, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. General Information
1.1 About Us: Practical CPD provides veterinary continuing education workshops designed for veterinary professionals in New Zealand (NZ) and Australia (AU).
1.2 Eligibility: Our courses are open to qualified veterinarians and veterinary nurses. Proof of qualifications may be required at registration.
1.3 Modification of Terms: We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website.

2. Registration and Payment
2.1 Registration Process:

Registration for workshops can be completed online through our website.
Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

2.2 Payment Terms:

Full payment is required at the time of registration to confirm your booking.
Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or Kahuvet/Knight
Benedikt reward points.

2.3 Confirmation:

You (Billing email address) will receive a confirmation email upon successful registration. If you do not receive confirmation, contact us at info@practicalcpd.com

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1 Participant Cancellation:

Cancellations made more than 90 days before the event will receive 100% credit (Can be used on any other workshops) or a 95% refund (5% administrative fee)
Cancellations less than 90 days before the event will receive 100% credit (Can be used on any other workshops) or a 70% refund (30% administrative fee)
Payment must be received in full prior to workshop attendance.

3.2 Provider Cancellation:

If Practical CPD cancels an event due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another course.

3.3 Substitutions:

If you cannot attend, you may substitute another eligible participant with prior notice to Practical CPD.

4. Event Changes
4.1 Rescheduling: Practical CPD reserves the right to reschedule courses or change venues if necessary. Affected participants will be notified as soon as possible.
Participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another course. Practical CPD will reimburse any non-refundable options for flights/accommodation if affected.
4.2 Presenter Changes: Presenters may be subject to change.

5. Intellectual Property
5.1 All course materials, content, and resources provided by Practical CPD are protected by copyright laws.
5.2 Participants are not permitted to copy, distribute, or reproduce any materials without prior written consent.

6. Liability
6.1 Health and Safety: Participants are responsible for adhering to health and safety protocols during workshops. Practical CPD will not be liable for any injuries or damages occurring due to participant negligence.
6.2 Limitation of Liability: Practical CPD’s liability for any claims arising from participation in workshops is limited to the course fee paid.

7. Privacy Policy
7.1 Data Collection: We collect and store personal information in accordance with NZ and AU privacy laws to facilitate registration and participation. When you sign up for a Practical CPD workshop, you’ll be added to our mailing list to stay in the loop with future events and updates. There is an option to unsubscribe if you wish to opt out.
7.2 Data Sharing: We may also share your email with our trusted sponsored partners and/or speakers, but if you’d prefer we didn’t, just let us know in writing and we’ll make sure your details stay private. Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

8. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully during workshops.
Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the event without a refund.
