This practical and insightful session is designed for general practice veterinarians of all experience levels who are involved in managing post-tumor wound closure in dogs. The lecture provides clear, step-by-step guidance on fundamental reconstructive techniques, including second intention healing, advancement flaps, Z-plasty, flank fold flaps and axial pattern flaps. This workshop will also focus on commonly encountered anatomical sites such as the extremities, ventral abdomen, lateral thigh, and lateral thorax.

It is strongly recommended that participants review wound healing and the fundamentals of axial pattern flaps prior to the workshop; however, this is not mandatory.
